3. Comments by the Principal:
Comments: Mr. Julius R. Swai joined this college with an intention to succeed. Being a mature person he sacrificed his previous employment in order to allocate full time in studying to become a Professional Tour Guide.
That he achieved. He worked hard right from the beginning and gained a lot of knowledge and confidence as time went on.
Julius is remarkably good when it comes to outdoor organization and guiding.
This is what professional tour guiding is all about. While at PROTS, for example, Julius organized several successful Field Trips to several National Parks.
We will remember him by the famous Field Trip he organized to Selous Game Reserve and Bagamoyo. The first ever. This polished his field experience making him a mature professional tour guide.
In order to graduate in an advanced level, Julius worked very hard on a project on TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS. His compilation is comprehensive and not only equips him with essential information on the Protected Areas, but also show just how hard working and diligent he is.
Julius loves birds and his second project was on Birds Identifications with 352 Species of Birds he can accurately identify – (minimum 300) He has potential of adding a lot more on the list so as to prove himself a potential Birding Guide.
His Information File has about 525 items and it is well arranged for easy reference and this makes him an informative guide. Julius is a gentleman and this makes him a choice for many people.
Julius is very competent Driver, too.
By his graduation he has attained enough Skills, Knowledge, Attitude and Performance. We highly recommend him.
