3. Comments:
Geoffrey joined PROTS with a firm intention to succeed. He worked hard right from the beginning and did not take time to blend well in the pace and demands of the course. He education level was not so high but that did not hinder him from going for his goal. This is a unique quality and personality.

Geoffrey has a very high sense of humour and this makes him a favourite company with his fellow students and will be an asset during his profession.

He is also a responsible person as he is now a Class Monitor - looking after class Training Aids and Equipment. He is required to put Documentaries early in the morning before classes starts and he is always punctual.

He proved his Organizational Skills when he organized a Field trip to Arusha National Park, a trip that was well organized, educational and successful.

Geoffrey is also working on his project on Photographic Commentaries and it looks like a master-piece in the making.

All the above qualities made the PROTS Management nominate him for a Sponsorship - of what he awarded on 16th March 2010. Because of Financial difficulties faced by him Mom, Geoffrey was almost dropping out of school. Suzanne and her school came to his rescue and paid the remaining $500 for him. He is the luckiest and happiest man on this planet!
We wish him all the best.

Geoffrey is the most recent beneficiary of our SOS Program that helps Students in Urgent Need of Financial Assistance.
The call was heeded by the students of Ardsley High School in New York under the organization of Suzanne.

Above: Geoffrey was all smiles when receiving his Receipt for $500 from Mr. Vedasto Izoba, the Principal.

The entire class was clapping their hands, congratulating Geof for being so lucky.

Above Photo: Mr. James, a graduate from PROTS giving a word of thanks to the Ardsley students on behalf of the students. He sighted his own example as to how he studies at PROTS not being able to know his future. When graduated, he spent sometime looking for a job in vain and he almost lost hope. When his time came, he attended one interview in Dar-es-Salaam and was employed and posted to Uganda with a salary of over $500 per month with other fringe benefits. It was during this post when he met some friends who sponsored him for further studies at Arusha University! He is studying for a degree in Finance. He happened to be in class when Geof was awarded his sponsorship.

1.       Hallo Geoffrey,
We were not forgotten about you, but couldn’t find your e mail address.

We have promised to send you some pictures of the mountain bike trip in Ngiresi, which was very nice.
For us it was beautiful to bike in the Ngiresi area between all the local people. We were asking ourselves who was watching who.
The trip was event full in a way that we started in a populated area, slowly climbed the mountain towards the Oxfam Novib project in the area.
The visit was good and we were able to learn something from each other.

The down hill part was nice.

2.      Hello Geoffrey,

The week has passed very quickly with a lot of work.

But I would like to thank you very much for the nice tour I made with you at US. River last Sunday.
I appreciated a lot everything, walking and talking with you.
Geoffrey is really a nice tour guide. I will recommend him.

I hope it is OK to put in your blog.
I went this morning to buy the massai sandals.

I have to work tomorrow morning Saturday;
I don't know yet about Sunday. At least work in the morning. Maybe I will be free in the afternoon.

Can I call you if I am free to make a tour to waterfall or else ???

REGARDS
PASCALE
